But they try real hard.They keep falling down getting up and shaking,and going for it again ...this elusive,fleeting masterpiece. love ANN WILSON : ) Baby Guitars was composed by Nancy Wilson, a song at a time, after the birth of her twin sons. When the boys were still very small, she (along with Hearts guitarist, Craig Bartock, who also co-wrote the songs) recorded the album in her home recording studio. For years, the children went to sleep with the music playing in their bedroom. The ten beautiful melodic compositions, and stunning guitar work, that comprise Baby Guitars are reminiscent of Nancys scoring work (Jerry Maguire, Almost Famous, Vanilla Sky, Elizabethtown) and, in fact, two of the songs are on her Elizabethtown score soundtrack album, and one (Sun on the Rug) was prominently featured in the Hillary Swank movie, PS I Love You. Until now, the only people who have heard the entire collection are family friends (like Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, Dave Grohl and his wife Jordyn) who were gifted with home-burned copies to ...
